Why there is no ChatWatch app in the Play Store or App Store
ChatWatch used to ship native Android and iOS apps. They were discontinued and removed from both stores. Today the only official ChatWatch is the website you are on, and it does everything the apps did: link your WhatsApp, track the contacts you choose, and show their online history, last seen history, NightWatch and Chat Probability.
A web app has two advantages for this kind of tool. Nothing is installed on your phone, so nothing can be found there. And the recording runs on our servers around the clock, so it does not matter whether your phone is on, locked, or out of battery.
About the "ChatWatch APK" files on download sites
Sites like Uptodown or APKCombo still list old ChatWatch APK files. Those are copies of the discontinued app, years out of date, not published by us and not supported. They will not connect to the current service, and installing APKs from third-party sites is a security risk on any phone.
If you want ChatWatch on Android, use the browser. It is the same product, it is current, and it costs nothing to try.

- 02Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner and choose "Add to Home screen" (on some phones: "Install app").
- 03Confirm. ChatWatch now opens from its own icon, full screen, like any other app.
